Painting and other stuffs

Hi,just to add my new collection of painting i made for last month, i think there is slightly or tiny improvement on my painting, but i'm happy with it,need to practice more,i know...this project for march, april and may 2010, really enjoy doing it..i'm hook...

This round chopping board, i was painted it on 18th of May 2010, and below cookies jar i painted it on 24th May 2010, just try on the glass

The rose below, i was followed the instruction given by the magazine Australian country craft, but the colour i was used what i have in stock, she used genesis but mine just normal acrylic colour. I was painted it on 13th May 2010

The below wall plaque, home sweet home, i painted it on 18th May 2010

This another chopping board that i bought, i painted the based coat with burnt umber-actually i don't like it very much because its look so dark but Fariha prefer this colour, first i thought want to make it yellow or any other light colour but she comment that i have so many others light colour and why not try something dark, so i took her advise and I painted it on 24th May 2010

This another cookies jar, i painted on 1st June 2010, but the hydrangea not that nice and too big and too many leaves

This on the chopping board also, i painted hydragear (since everyone comment i always paint roses) on 31st May 2010.This one, i was painted on 25th April 2010, the based coat was green plus yellow, sorry the sequence not in order

On 23th Feb until 13th March 2010,kak long came for a holiday during her semester break, we just went to Bur Dubai, taking a waterbus(actually a boat) from Deira to Dubai Creek, a very short tour.Here some of the cakes that i made for my loving daughter kak long....

Last spring school holiday, Za's family, Wati's family,Aida's family,Fazillah's family and my family went a camping to Green Mubazzarah in Al-Ain.

Another new hobby,taking a photo of a flower. Here are the result of my photoshot. Quiet nice hehehe.....love it...

January 2010 project

In January, my mood have changed from quilting and baking to painting so this month I finished paint a bag,two t-shirt, side table and chest drawer,although the painting not that beautiful but i'm still practice it the stroke, quite productive month.

This the flowers on the side table,first time draw after almost a year break, so the stokes looked very stiff not curvy enough.

This is my second big project after the side table, the chest drawer. I drawed only the roses. This is the roses on top of the drawer.
These roses on the sides of the drawer.

And these I drawed the in front of the drawer, small roses with the vine.

I also make some cocktail jelly and blueberry pie for the tea time. Other activity during the weekend went for walked at corniche.

Jalan-jalan at the corniche, just about 5 minutes from my house, this picture toward the Meena Port, the scenery is lovely, the water so clear, you can see the fishs in the water. The following picture are the sunset, relax and calm.

Happy New Year 2010

We're in the new decade,wish all happy new year, may this year better than last year,especially after the credit crunch happened for the last two years, affected many of us. Well my last years resolution will carried forward to this year. But extra resolution, i want to do more painting this year,insyaAllah.

Last month on 14th Dec was Farhan's birthday, His 11 years old now. This is his chocolate cake as requested, with lasagne.

Fardan's birthday on december 24th 2009.Now he is 12 years old..

I made him buttercake together with cream and also chicken pie...

For this month, on 9th January 2010 was Kak Ngah 15th birthday,emm..kak ngah you getting old heheh....
