After long break

Hi,busy as usual,now kak long is here on holiday start from 27th Sept 2010 until 3rd Dec 2010,what a long holiday...but the good things is she can help me with the house chores and keep me a company...hehehe..betul tak kak long..We're backed on 16th Sep, so far nothing much have done, i just finished only two painting, red rose again and strawberries with jam on canvas...imaging only two painting i can do in more than two months, what terrible time management, i really,really need to improve this...since most of the time we have been cooking,chatting or watching movie...what happen to my hobbies, keep on postponing....
Another things happened so far, I was received my CD- roses are for artists from Connie Parkinson on 30th Sep 2010,finally, i was ordered the CD on 24th may,using the PO Box address but there's no contact no.,some problem there, fortunately she willing to post another CD. She is a very nice person,thank you.

This month also is Syazwan's 14th birthday on 3rd Oct, he requested roasted chicken,coleslaw, mashed potatoes and caramel pudding, a bit of western taste. On 19th Oct was hubby's birthday,and he requested all traditional kuih, ketayap, badak berendam, roti jala together with chicken curry, and swiss roll (this is a family-Gurun-tradition, always made during the Eid for the last 30 years).

21st Oct 2010, on Thursday night, we went to the Ferrari World Abu Dhabi at Yas Island, we got a free tickets, the kids enjoyed very much, we went for a ride at speed of magic (it a 3D ride), interesting, but the queue very long we have to wait for almost one and half hour than we went to see how the ferrari made. Fun but expensive to go.On 4th November 2010, was my 20th anniversary,so i made fruit tart,chicken pie, mee hoon, and bought texas chicken. that night kak ngah had a painting workshop at Emirate Palace, so all of us went to the Emirate to see the Abu Dhabi Contemporary Art Exhibition...hehehe...actually it not easy to enter the Emirate Palace, we tried to go there once during the Islamic exhibition, but the guard there not allow us to enter because we do wear proper dress, cerewet betul...


On 12th November 2010,we went to Musandam for a camping,beautiful place, clear water, the weather comfortable...just a nice day to relax....20th November 2010, we went to the park to do painting for the family day,this year a bit different from the past five years, i want everyone do the painting about what they think about the family day. So here are the results.

June Project

Hi,my June painting projects, actually there still a few more, but insyaAllah i will posted next time, by the way,next week on 23rd June 2010, my children and my will go back to Malaysia for our summer holiday until 16th Sept 2010,just a week after the Eid. So this year, the kids just "ponteng" for two days.

Hi,just to add my new collection of painting i made for last month, i think there is slightly or tiny improvement on my painting, but i'm happy with it,need to practice more,i know...this project for march, april and may 2010, really enjoy doing it..i'm hook...

This round chopping board, i was painted it on 18th of May 2010, and below cookies jar i painted it on 24th May 2010, just try on the glass

The rose below, i was followed the instruction given by the magazine Australian country craft, but the colour i was used what i have in stock, she used genesis but mine just normal acrylic colour. I was painted it on 13th May 2010

This another chopping board that i bought, i painted the based coat with burnt umber-actually i don't like it very much because its look so dark but Fariha prefer this colour, first i thought want to make it yellow or any other light colour but she comment that i have so many others light colour and why not try something dark, so i took her advise and I painted it on 24th May 2010

On 23th Feb until 13th March 2010,kak long came for a holiday during her semester break, we just went to Bur Dubai, taking a waterbus(actually a boat) from Deira to Dubai Creek, a very short tour.Here some of the cakes that i made for my loving daughter kak long....

Last spring school holiday, Za's family, Wati's family,Aida's family,Fazillah's family and my family went a camping to Green Mubazzarah in Al-Ain.

Another new hobby,taking a photo of a flower. Here are the result of my photoshot. Quiet nice hehehe.....love it...
